Brick Lane Jazz Festival returns for its fourth year with yet another mind-expanding &genre-defying line-up that mirrors the vibrant convergence of London’s thriving underground music scenes. The focus, as always, is on spotlighting emerging talent, bringing together artists from jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul, R&B, broken beat, and electronic music, who will perform across twelve iconic music venues on and around Brick Lane.

Ari Tsugi

Ari Tsugi’s music blends spiritual jazz, psychedelic rock, and Brazilian melodies. Their sound is diverse and innovative, featuring intricate arrangements and captivating improvisations. Ari Tsugi’s compositions invite listeners to experience a unique musical journey. Their live performances radiate warmth, kindness, and a deep love for music, leaving audiences feeling embraced and uplifted.

David Walters,

Combining influences from his Caribbean heritage with electronic beats and acoustic folk, singer and multi-instrumentalist David Walters has won fans worldwide with his unique sound, with solid support from Gilles Peterson, FIP, Radio Nova and France Inter.New album Soul Tropical, produced by Tom Excell (Nubiyan Twist, Onipa, K.O.G and many more) will drop March 2023 on acclaimed French label Heavenly Sweetness, with concentrated PR campaign in UK, France and the USA.

Marla Kether

Born in London to Congolese parents, Marla Kether is a bassist, producer and DJ. Exceeding 35 million Spotify streams as a session bassist for the likes of Yazmin Lacey, Oscar Jerome and Obongjayar, Marla released her highly-anticipated debut EP ‘All That We Have’ in November, preceded by four singles championed by the likes of Crack Magazine, Mary Anne Hobbs, Jamz Supernova, Shanti Celeste, Gilles Peterson and many more. I

Arsen Superfly (DJ set)

Arsen Superfly is a Kazakhstani DJ and a collector of various rare vinyl records, сo-founder of the Almaty music bar called Bul Bar. Long ago, he determined his path to creating a cultural layer for the uninitiated local audience. His passion for music has lasted since childhood (from the late 1980s), and all these years he has remained dedicated to this art performing and organizing numerous musical ideas, intimate and large-scale parties, residencies, and festivals, as well as supporting the younger generation of musicians and DJs.
