This event is part of EFG London Jazz Festival 2023, the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival, taking place annually in November, which has long been acclaimed for showcasing a heady mix of talent from around the world. Widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars, the Festival continues to take jazz to a massive audience, in one of UK’s landmark music events. Following an exceptional edition last year, EFG London Jazz Festival returns with a programme of live performances by an electrifying lineup of global stars, special collaborations, and the finest and freshest music. On Sunday 12th November 2023 it is with great pleasure that we welcome Anjelo Disons & The Oracle to the Juju’s stage. Rising star on the UK scene Ashaine White will be supporting this show.


24-year-old Singer, Songwriter and Producer Anjelo Disons from South London has arrived with a collective of musicians that really put London sounds on the map.
“A Musical Activist” quipped BBC RADIO presenter Amelia Poamz, Anjelo is backed by a sensational collective of creatives called The Oracle.
Written about in NPR, Clash, Guap, Wonderland & Line of Best Fit Magazine as ones to watch The Oracle are curating the London music scene with Event Residencies at venues such as Boxpark, Locke Hotel & The Piano Bar Soho. Between them, Anjelo & The Oracle have worked with artists across all genres of the music business including the likes of Julian Joseph, Wiz Kid, Tom Misch, Hugh Hardie and Hak Baker to name a few.
With the likes of Sax phenomenon Kaidi Akinibi, Jazz Drill pioneer/Saxophonist Deji Ijishakin, virtuoso singer-songwriter Ava Joseph, coveted writer, producer & musician Lorenz Okello, to name a few of the members, Anjelo + The Oracle band are truly an experience live; entertaining crowds from Boomtown Festival to The Jazz Cafe, Southbank Centre to XOYO the phenomenal blend of his unique vocals and virtuoso live band are unmissable.



Ashaine White is a rising star in the UK music scene, already nominated for a 2022 Ivors Academy Rising Star award, she is one to watch. With a critically acclaimed project (Fairytales, 2021) under her belt, Ashaine has quickly become a sought-after artist, receiving support from some of the top radio stations in the country (BBC Radio 1 Xtra, BBC Introducing London, Soho Radio, Reprezent Radio, and Voices Radio). Her highly anticipated second project, “Ash,” was released in the summer of 2023 and was highlighted in Bandcamp’s New and Notable Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Soundclound’s Fresh Pressed.
