Juju’s Presents: Nia Wyn & Friends
6:00pm
Juju’s are proud to present Nia Wyn & Friends on July 29th! A jam-packed night consisting of some of the most exciting musicians on the UK RnB, Soul and Hip-Hop scenes, led by vocalist Nia Wyn. With a stacked line-up of live performances, this is ripe to be a really special night, not to be missed! Free entry all night!
NIA WYN
Welsh soul artist Nia Wyn has a talent for raw and powerful storytelling. Set within a kind of unorthodox, engrossing vocal, immediately marking her out against the backdrop of emerging young female artists coming out of the UK – and conjures a very exciting defiant charisma that’s both hard and warm.
Nia’s recent achievements include supporting Paul Weller on his sold-out UK tour, performing at Glastonbury Festival 2022 (as a finalist of their Emerging Talent Competition), Latitude Festival and Lytham Festival, and sync placements on FIFA 21 and Shondaland’s Station 19.
KWOLI BLACK
Alternative hip hop artist Kwoli Black, makes music for people that love music. He blends poignant lyricism with intricate production, creating music that can connect with the masses. After a summer following Kojey Radical on tour this year Kwoli steps forward with a renewed enthusiasm as he enters the next stage of his evolution and prepares to offer the world more of his art.
**R.A.E
**R.A.E (pronounced arr-ay-ee) is a singer, rapper and songwriter pioneering a new sound rooted in 90’s Nostalgia. Her artistry manifests itself in a unique blend of Hip-Hop and R&B, bringing a fresh but nostalgic sound with her easy melodies and uplifting raps.
Growing up influenced by the likes of Left Eye, Da Brat and Mc Lyte, her distinctive style matched with her ability to create feel-good music captivates and inspires listeners worldwide. Through her music R.A.E illustrates relatable experiences, speaking to young, excited and label-less people of her generation.
The name R.A.E is a constant reminder of her determination and values: Rising Above Everything
**DUCHESS
**Duchess is a 25-year-old South Londoner with a lot of soul. Hailing from Plumstead, this extraordinary young-woman grew up as one of 8 siblings in more locations than she can remember. Sitting somewhere between Jill Scott and Minnie Riperton, but with a distinctly London view-point, her fusion of R&B, soul and hip-hop showcases one of the most naturally gifted vocalists of the last few years.
